A seminar has been organised by ICCS and CTL on the 'Emerging Trends in TESOL', for the faculty of BSHEL and BSELL. Dr. Ron Thomson will have an interactive session with the faculty.
The seminar is arranged in two different time-slots:
1. Seminar for the Teachers on 'Emerging Trends in TESL/TESOL', in 2S-35 from 11 -12:30
2. Workshop for students on the following topic:
'English Language Fluency and Proficiency', in 1N-12 from 3:30 to 5:00.
Brief Profile of Dr. R. Thomson
Dr. Thomson is a former Elected Director (2005-2017) and President (2014-2015) of the TESL Canada board, and served as an appointed advisor to the TESL Canada Executive Committee until 2017. www.tesl.ca. He is also an editorial board member for the Journal of Second Language Pronunciation, Canadian Modern Language Review, and the TESL Canada Journal, and reviews for many other relevant journals in the field.
