Muhammad Numan is a Lecturer and Associate Editor of Language and Literature Review at Department of English and Literary Studies (DELS), Institute of Liberal Arts, University of Management and Technology, Lahore. He has just submitted his PhD thesis in English literature with a specialization in South Asian literature and Memory Studies at the Department of English (GS), National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad. He is a former Visiting PhD Research Fellow at Asian and Middle East Studies Department, College of Liberal Arts, University of Minnesota (Twin Cities), Minneapolis, USA. He is also the author of لسانیات: ایک جامع تعارف (Linguistics: A Detailed Introduction) published by Oxford University Press, in 2022. Previously, He did his MPhil English with specialization in Film Studies and MA English from International Islamic University, Islamabad in 2018 and 2016 respectively. Recently, he delivered two guest lectures at University of Potsdam, Germany; and presented
