I have done my MS in English Language and Literature from COMSATS University, Lahore. I completed my BS degree in English Language and Literature from Education University, Lahore. I am working as a permanent lecturer at the Department of English and Literary Studies, Institute of Liberal Arts, UMT. I like reading novels and writing poetry and prose. My key areas of interest are Gender Studies, psychoanalysis, and Post-Colonial studies. I believe that literature provides the kind of knowledge which is euphoric yet real. It makes you believe and negate the philosophies of life at the same time. It also provides you with the ability to ponder on the general ideas of life in order to improve critical thinking.
