Tamsila Naeem is an Assistant Professor of English Literature and Linguistics at University of Management and Technology, Lahore. She has two post graduate degrees: in English Literature and in TESOL, an M Phil in Applied Linguistics and a doctorate in Linguistics. Her main research areas are Semantics, Pragmatics, Discourse Analysis, and Socio-Linguistics. With an interest in Post-colonial literature, she has published many research articles and some are in process of publication. She has presented her research works in many national and international conferences.

 

Objectives:

To utilize my experience and knowledge, acquired in all the jobs so far and being highly result oriented, a job that will provide satisfaction and freedom to implement new and creative ideas, suits my criteria.

Title of PhD Thesis: A Study of the Subversion of Archetypes through Judith Butler’s Excitable Speech in Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye, Sula and Beloved

M.Phil Applied Linguistics from Kinnaird College Lahore.

 M.A TESOL in 1st division from Lahore College University.

M.A English Literature in 2nd division from Punjab University.

C.S.S (passed) with British History & Indian History.

B.A with English literature (1st division in English Literature and as a whole).
