Mission
The program aims to equip the students with a broad base of knowledge and a rigorous intellectual training grounded in the three streams: Literature, History and Philosophy that would enable them to be versatile individuals capable to confront the challenges of the 21st century.
Program Objectives
Graduates of the program will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in a variety of areas by focusing on critical, analytical and creative aspects.
- Develop proficiency in written and oral communication skills which will capacitate them to engage in a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary environment.
- Pursue diverse career opportunities in fields such as Civil Services, public relations, communications, education, research, social services, non-profit organizations, government, and consulting, where their strong critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary skills are highly valued.
Admission Requirements for Students
A prospective applicant to the BS Liberal Arts Program must have:
I. Intermediate or equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks.
II. In case of O Level, A Level, American High School Diploma or any other equivalent foreign qualification: at least a B grade.
III. An interview is required for admission.
