The Center for Languages at the Institute of Liberal Arts, in collaboration with German partners DCG Halle and DUO, is starting German language classes on the UMT campus. These classes will include a specialized online learning platform by DUO in which students will be enrolled for self-study.
In October 2021, the first module (A1.1) is being offered, and this will be followed by further modules (A1.2, A2.1, A2.2, B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2, and C1.1).
Students have four routes of study to choose from – three of these routes follow a normal track of 10 hours of classroom sessions per week for eleven weeks for every module, while one route is fast-tracked with 16 hours of classroom sessions per week for seven weeks.

At the successful completion of each module, the student will get a certificate for that module from DUO.

Please complete the application form, and attach a recent passport photograph (email or hard copy).

For students opting for the normal track (Options A, B, and C), fee for one module: Rs. 32,000
For students opting for the fast track (Option D), fee for one module: Rs. 33,000
Refund policy: The fee for the program is non-refundable. However, if the program does not start, 100 percent of the fee will be refunded to the applicant.
You will be issued a voucher from the Admissions Office, using which you will make the payment before the deadline in order to be enrolled in the program.
